Frank Varro Design is a site that will focus on two things: Landscape Architecture and Technology. Right now the Landscape Architecture side is waiting while I get to the more pressing issue of Technology.

I decided to create this site after seeing numerous places posting resources about how to work from home, and noticing that none of them addressed one of the biggest questions for a lot of people: “What type of computer should I have in order to work from home?” I had just finished building two computers, of for my wife to use when working from home, and one for a friend’s son to play games and do remote learning on, and was hoping to see what the experts were telling people to buy.

When there was no expert telling people I thought that, with my base of knowledge and a love of nerding-out by doing research into product reviews and comparisons (I watched and read reviews, build guides, and spec-sheets daily for 3 months before building my wife’s computer), could fill that gap. Whether you need a computer for word processing, or for photography, or for playing Microsoft Flight Simulator, my aim to help help you get the best of every cent you spend so that you can do everything you want without buying things you don’t need.
